Description

Alsike clover (Trifolium hybridum) is widely cultivated and used as a forage crop.

It is relatively modest than the red clover, as it can be grown in less fertile and also acidic soils. Bastard clover has a shallower root system, so it also grows on non-soaked, wet soils. It also grows well in peat soils, but yields less than red clover.

This clover has a high nutritional value for a long time - until the end of flowering. However, it should be considered that the green plants are bitter and the animals eat them worse, so therefore it is desirable to grow it together with grasses.

Good honey plant.

Sowing rate: 8-12 kg / ha.

Seeds are certified according to the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 152 and the European Union directives.
