White mustard (Sinapis alba L.) is commonly used as a cover and green manure crop. The sowing time is early spring until mid-September. Time from sprouting to flowering for 30 days.
Mustard's strong root, up to 2m in length, grows deeply into the soil, improves its structure, and reduces the growth potential of weeds.
White mustard does not like acid, dense soils.
Sowing rate: 20 - 25 kg / ha
